The iPhone X is two years old and that means you will only get four more years of software support. The performance is still great but an iPhone XR will perform better any given day. Battery life is sub-par on the iPhone X and one can barely make it to the end of the day. The cameras are also decent but they are nowhere as good as new cameras we have these days.
Hence, iPhone X is 2020 isn’t a good deal.
So that means the iPhone XR is the best?

You get an awesome full-day battery life with moderate usage, super-fast performance that can run any of the current games in the best of ways and host of exciting colours to choose from. The lack of an ultra-wide camera is also a bummer for a premium phone in 2020. The front camera is decent too but it doesn’t offer the best quality in terms of selfies and videos. Hence, despite the lower prices, the iPhone XR is still not the best value iPhone by 2020 standards.
That leaves us to the iPhone 11
And, the iPhone 11 is the affordable iPhone you should buy in 2020. Of course, you might scoff at me calling the iPhone 11 affordable but one look at what the iPhone 11 Pro’s price tag and the iPhone 11 seems like a bargain. It’s mostly similar to the iPhone XR but the tiny upgrades Apple made to it make it a much better phone than the iPhone XR.
The cameras benefit the most and with Apple’s Deep Fusion tech, you can get Google Pixel-levels of details in the photos. The ultra-wide-angle camera is great for getting new perspectives while the night mode performance leaves the iPhone XR to eat dust. Even the front camera gets massive improvements and the new wide-angle can accommodate more people.
Other than that, the iPhone 11 slightly better battery life, slightly better performance and a new range of colours to choose from. However, Apple could have upgraded the 720p LCD display to an OLED panel on the iPhone 11.

On the whole, the iPhone 11 is the most expensive option here at Rs 64,990 but if you are willing to get the best experience that stays the same for years to come, it makes more sense to spend extra on the iPhone 11 instead of saving money on the older models with inferior technology.
