Apple rolls out ios 13.3 with bug fixes and parental controls


Apple has rolled out iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 for its its devices. The update includes parental controls and fixes to Mail, Gmail and Voice Memos.

Apple has released iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 update to all its compatible iPhones and iPad. The update (iOS 13.3) that comes nearly a-month-and-a-half after the company rolled out iOS 13.2 and weeks after the company rolled out iOS 13.2.3, and it includes a host of bug fixes and updates. It also includes a new set of features - parental controls -- designed to help parents set a screen limit to their kids' smartphone usage.
Let's talk about the update to Screen Time first. The iOS 13.3 update, as Apple says, includes new parental controls that allow allow parents to set communication limits over who their children can call, FaceTime, or send a message to. In addition to that, contact list for children allows parents to manage the contacts that appear on their children's devices. These features give parents a complete control...well, almost complete control over who their kids can interact with and for how long can they do so.
Apple has also rolled out updates for Apple News and Stocks which includes a new layout for Apple News+ stories from The Wall Street Journal and other leading newspapers, easily way to like or dislike stories, and support for stories in English and French in Canada among others.
In addition to the above mentioned changes, iOS 13.3 also fixes a number of issues that iPhone users might be facing. Here is the changelog:

-- Addresses an issue that prevented deleting messages in Gmail accounts.
-- Addresses an issue that may cause screenshots to appear blurry when sent via Messages.
-- Resolves an issue where cropping or using Markup on screenshots may not save to Photos.
-- Fixes an issue where Voice Memos recordings may not be able to be shared with other audio apps.
-- Resolves an issue where the Cellular Data setting may incorrectly show as off.
-- Fixes an issue that prevented turning off Dark Mode when Smart Invert was enabled.
-- Addresses an issue where some wireless chargers may charge more slowly than expected.
Lastly, Apple has added support for physical security keys in iOS 13.3. The tech giant has added support for NFC, USB, and Lightning FIDO2-compliant physical security keys in Safari, which provide greater security while browsing content online. You can download the update by opening Settings > General > Software Update.
